Poly-MVA is a proprietary blend of Palladium bound to alpha-lipoic acid, Vitamins B1, B2 and B12, amino acids formyl-methionine and acetyl cystiene and trace amounts of Molybdinum, Rhodium, and Ruthenium.
What is palladium lipoic acid, and what makes it special? Back to Top
Palladium lipoic acid is an extraordinary compound that chemically bonds Palladium (a unique mineral) to alpha lipoic acid. The technique of bonding these two materials together is so unique that the U.S. government has issued a patent on the process. The proprietary bonding of palladium to lipoic acid provides a way to get dramatically increased absorption of lipoic acid by the cell. It is theorized to provide a means of protecting the electrical potential of the cell thereby helping to ensure that it stays healthy, and helping weakened cells restore to health. There is presently no other commercially available product containing this unique Palladium lipoic complex.
How does palladium work within the body? Back to Top
Within Poly-MVA, the proprietary Palladium lipoic acid acts in a similar way to the Cobalt found in Vitamin B-12 (cyanocobalamin). The Palladium is sequestered, or bonded, to the Palladium lipoic acid molecule found in Poly-MVA. Palladium serves primarily as a transport mechanism to dramatically enhance the uptake of lipoic acid, while it is also theorized to have an effect on the electrical potential of the cell. It does this by shuttling electrons from the cell membrane to the nucleus and the mitochondria. While the Palladium lipoic complex contained in Poly-MVA provides a significant portion of the unique action of the supplement, other specific vitamins, minerals and amino acids enhance the function of it, while also contributing to the support of various bodily systems.
Why do people take Poly-MVA? Back to Top
The late oncologist, Rudy Falk, MD, believed that Poly-MVA had properties that made it beneficial as a tonic and preventative measure, because of its unique ability to support and optimize cellular functions. The product shows promise in helping to re-energize cells, especially those under stress. Poly-MVA is particularly useful to individuals whose bodies are under extreme stress and whose immune systems have been compromised. Some people who have been physically worn down due to stress from work or lack of proper nutrition use Poly-MVA to provide increased energy. Many other individuals use Poly-MVA to help them have less fatigue and nausea or to increase their stamina and appetite to help support essential body functions while undergoing medical treatments like chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy.
Do some people use Poly-MVA as a treatment for diseases? Back to Top
Due to FDA regulations, nutritional supplements cannot be sold for use in the diagnosis, treatment, cure or prevention of any disease. Poly-MVA is a nutritional supplement designed to support essential body functions. Doctors commonly recommend the use of Poly-MVA based on their own experience and results. In some cases, physicians may use Poly-MVA in combination with other nutritional supplements and/or medications as part of an overall integrative program, in the same way that some doctors recommend Vitamin C to help prevent the common cold. AMARC Enterprises does not advocate the use of Poly-MVA (or any other supplement, treatment or medication) for use with any disease. Please consult your healthcare professional to discuss starting any new therapy or treatment regimen.
What is the recommended dosage and how long will a bottle last? Back to Top
Following are our dosage recommendations. The length of time a bottle lasts depends on how much you take. A bottle of Poly-MVA could last as long as 192 days (over six months in the large bottle) with our lowest dosage recommendation. A bottle could last as little as a week for those who are using it as support for treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
Dosage recommendations:
To maintain optimum health: The recommended use for those seeking to maintain optimum health is 1/4 to 1 teaspoon per day depending on weight and health.
For maximum benefit: The recommended use for those seeking increased energy, extra support, extra cellular protection and optimum antioxidant functions is 2 teaspoons 4 times per day for the first week. Then reduce the dose to 1 teaspoon four times per day for the next 12 to 16 weeks, or until the desired outcome is achieved. Individuals that feel very stressed, depleted, or fatigued may choose to stay on the higher dose for longer than one week. Each individual responds differently, and you might find that the optimum benefit for you is maintained at the higher recommended use level for some time.
Physicians using Poly-MVA as part of an overall health improvement program report that often patients who stay on the first week's recommended use level for a number of weeks report higher energy, better appetite and other positive benefits.
Can people take Poly-MVA for prevention?Back to Top
Yes, Poly-MVA is an ideal oral antioxidant. By using Poly-MVA as a preventative measure, the structure and function of cells in the body are enhanced, therefore helping to prevent the breakdown of cellular function that contribute to many different diseases. In short, Poly-MVA is an excellent supplement to help keep your body in tip-top shape and decrease vulnerability to illness.
How long does it take to get results? Back to Top
Dr. Garnett (the discoverer and inventor of Poly-MVA) believes that most individuals will notice a difference in how they feel within the first 2-4 weeks. In some cases, we have seen dramatic results (energy improvement, increased appetite, etc.) in just a matter of days, dependent upon dosage.
Is Poly-MVA safe?Back to Top
All of the ingredients of Poly-MVA are found in foods and it is assimilated by the body as food. During the development of Palladium lipoic complexes, including Poly-MVA, very high doses were given to animals in an attempt to determine the lethal toxicity level. Even at the highest administered dose (18 times higher than the maximum recommended dose), no negative effects were observed in any of the test animals. Based on this data, Poly-MVA appears to be extraordinarily safe. Additionally, Poly-MVA does not appear to interfere with the actions or effects of any medications or treatments.
Are there any side effects? Back to Top
Poly-MVA does not have any known side effects. We do, however, recommend that you discuss this and all dietary supplements that you are taking with your health care professional.
Is there anything I should avoid taking while on Poly-MVA?Back to Top
Vitamin C up to 3000mg and other antioxidants at, or slightly above, their recommended daily allowance while using Poly-MVA are not recommended. If you are taking vitamin C (3000mg-5000mg per day) we recommend waiting 6 hours before taking the Poly-MVA. Mega doses of Vitamin C (5-150 grams per day) should be carefully watched by a physician. Alpha Lipoic Acid should not be taken with Poly-MVA, because it will compete with the proprietary Palladium-bonded lipoic acid in the Poly-MVA. Tobacco products, alcohol and excessive caffeine intake can also interfere with the actions of Poly-MVA (these activities also work against the goal of optimum health, so we recommend avoidance).
Why is this product so costly compared to other supplements?Back to Top
When compared to other premium dietary supplements, Poly-MVA is competitive on a month-to-month basis. Its unique ingredients and the presence of palladium, rhodium (which are two of the most expensive metals in the world; palladium is typically more expensive than platinum), and other metals make this supplement necessarily expensive. Additionally, the lab that developed the product is engaged in preparing a similar product for FDA-approved clinical trials. Since the cost of that process is several millions of dollars, it is necessary to cover some of the development cost of the product through the sale of the product. In terms of the cost of the raw materials and manufacturing process vs. the selling price, Poly-MVA is similar in manufacturing margins to most other nutritional supplements.
Why haven't I heard of Poly-MVA until now? Back to Top
Poly-MVA has been available in the U.S. since 1992, but the first several years were spent presenting the scientific data to physicians and conducting research. There are now quite a few medical doctors from all over the country and the world using Poly-MVA in their practices as part of an overall treatment program for general health and well being, as well as for support during chemotherapy and radiation therapy, so the value of the supplement is becoming more widely known.
There is a large and growing list of physicians recommending and using Poly-MVA that you can find under the doctor's section of our website. As with any dietary supplement, and particularly one as unique in its action as Palladium lipoic complexes, acceptance among the medical profession has taken time. However, an increasing number of physicians are reporting positive results in using Poly-MVA in a variety of circumstances and protocols. The value of this class of supplements is becoming much more widely known. We believe that the wide and growing acceptance of Poly-MVA is a strong validation for the effectiveness as well as the value of the product.
